How in the world did I miss this?! I too am a huge Roy fan and run [link] , which is as far as I know, the only Roy Harper fansite on the web. Exclusive website I should say.
I've always thought red on a red-head was a bone-headed move and I agree that Roy should have been the one to step into Ollie's shoes when Ollie went to the Great Beyond. Connor's great but an out of the blue thing. I guess it's true what they say about red-headed step children, so to speak.
This has the perfect pull of Roy's cocksure attitude and homage to Ollie's suit, right down to that blasted goatee (LOL!). The way he fingers the bow idly as if daring some punk to start something is pure Green Arrow, no matter who's in the suit. Awesomely rendered and very well done!

I agree with you that Connor came out of nowhere, but that was the point with him. In fact, that was a resurrecting team in Dixon's awesome run on GA where Connor took Ollie's mantle.
And when Ollie died, Roy was a very untypical hero who barely had a superhero costume. He didn't even were a mask. And he didn't want to take Ollie's place as GA. Granted, he wanted to be asked so he could say no.

Thanks! Nice site you got there. Yeah I wish they'd do more with Roy and like Wally and Dick, could move out from the shadow of his mentor. He's too cool a character not too. Though I'm hating what they're doing with him at the moment.

Absolutely stunning and terrific picture of Roy as Green Arrow...! I definitely think he should be the one to pick up the mantle someday; but for now, I'm also happy with Ollie at the helm...
It's really a great look for 'Tomorrow's Green Arrow'...The hood makes him look like he takes his job a bit more seriously as opposed to if he donned the Robin Hood hat (don't me wrong, I love the Robin Hood hat

Yep, Roy should have a look all his own. Dunno what you think of his Red Arrow costume but I'm not a big fan. I'm glad he's finally made the JLA though!

I never thought about the costume itself very much, but the fact that he's Red Arrow to begin with leaves me with a bit of an impression that he's just a slightly different copy of Ollie...Which, I suppose, is how most of the sidekicks started out back when they were created long ago, but they've now been around long enough that they should have their own identities -- such as with Troia, Nightwing, Tempest, etc...Wally is the exempt I guess, since he's picked up the Flash torch in place of Barry and Bart (whom, by the way, I miss

True, they've all become their own people but Roy's still kinda living in the shadow of Ollie, though he was awsome as Arsenal and was coming into his own. Guess we'll just have to see what DC has in store for him.
Bart was okay, I think he shoulda stayed being Impulse. To me, Wally will always be Flash. But I'm sure Bart will be back eventually.

Oh, absolutely...Bart was excellent as Impulse...They need an Impulse, too; were that they could make some room on the Teen Titans for one...Oh, well...I guess the thing is to have patience...Bart will be back...It's become such a commonplace occurrence in DC for characters to be revived, I've actually pictured new funerals and eulogies:

Oh this is sweet! I always wondered why they created Connor when Roy would have seemed more appropriate. They're both really, really cool. Overall, you did a superb job with the inks and colors.
That's a great Roy pose, btw. I agree with ~otaconforu , seeing Roy battle an Elseworlds Deathstroke would be totally badass. Esp if it was someone taking over for Slade? Like Rose? Nah, that's lame...

I guess it does have a few "Speedy" elements. At least you left out the yellow hat. that would have looked dorky. I didn't comment on it before, but the arrow symbol you placed on his shirt looks sweet. Much more iconic.
In some ways, though, it reminds me of Mike Grell's version of Ollie's 'Seattle' costume.
