Achte's human forms:
Virgil and Grandfather.

"Virgil" is a humanoid hologram that Achte uses for the appearance of a fifth grader. Achte chose the name as a tribute to Publius Vergilius Maro aka Virgil (who is an ancient philosopher/thinker). He projects the appearance of a fairly rotund Latino male with dark brown hair and small, beady eyes. His human persona sports a well pressed, white, collared shirt with breast pockets, and long, plain grey pants and shoes. This form is certainly humanoid in appearance, but certain aspects of the android's build still show through to be recognizable, such as the circular shape of his body. He's like an egg with arms and legs.
With this disguise, Achte acts like a regular Eliason Academy student who is very smart by human standards, though he limits his true advanced intelligence in order to hide his extraterrestrial origins.

"Grandfather" is the second form Achte tends to take on, this one is in the form of a man in his 70's who has grey hair and wears a sweater. This form is mustached and mighty; hands heavy, gut large. He drives Lys and Altair to school and sometimes cooks for them while maintaining the façade that they are a simple family in suburban Washington. Grandfather has to deal with their nosy neighbor Colette (an older woman on their block and Ernst's aunt) who has taken a liking to him. Though he tries to maintain a low profile, his existence within the suburbs becomes well known the more Colette talks about him to other neighbors. As Achte adapts to this parental personality, he finds a great sense of joy in older music, crossword puzzles, chess and checkers, game shows, cartoons, cooking and simple gifts.
While Achte prefers his Virgil image, he additionally finds that the mature personality of his grandfatherly image better suits him.
