Description
I normally have a tendency to just sort of half-ass doing actually backgrounds for my pictures because I really just do not like drawing them in... Just a single character in front of a simple gradient background is what you'll usually get out of me. Well here's some fanart of Samus facing off against Ridley where I told myself to actually try this time, because Metroid is perhaps my favorite video game franchise and it is very near and dear to my heart. And if there was ever a way to motivate my dumb lazy ass to actually put effort into something like this, it would have to be me making wallpaper sized fanart for my favorite franchise. I will say, it certainly wasn't a quick piece to make. I lost like 3 nights of sleep as I slowly worked on finishing this one, but like, who needs a regular sleep schedule, you know?. At least it turned out OK... just as long as you don't look too closely at it and notice all the imperfections whose existences I'm painfully aware of... Any who, hope y'all enjoy it!
