Is this my art?Did Banksy put it there for me to photograph and claim as my own?
If you put it on a wall in the middle of a city, is it still yours?
I think he would say no to all three.

I'm surprised it has lasted this long, I figured somebody would have either defaced it, stolen the wall (has happened before) or knocked the building down. Glad it was still there for you to question

Just thumbing through my old gallery, which doesn't get much love anymore, and saw this comment. Funny, I was driving past this a couple of weeks ago and it has, in fact been painted over by another "artist".
I don't know how long it'll be before you log in & see this but even though our streak of "knowing" each other & never meeting is virtually as legendary as me never having seen Goonies, it would still be good to see you in person one of these days.

I think Banksy was there for the 3rd anniversary of Katrina so yeah, a lot of stuff has disappeared for various reasons. I'm sure it's still fun to go hunting though.
