Yeah, sorry. I know this isn't my greatest picture ever, but I couldn't help but wonder how series Aang and Zuko would look dressed in their movie counterpart's clothing.
I don't think Zuko liked the idea very much. He didn't cooperate with my attempts to draw him at all. >_< lol But despite all that, I actually really like the result.
P.S. Coloring scares the crap out of me, so please forgive the picture's near lack of shading and just be thankful I colored it at all.
Edit: Now complete with it's own motivational poster! Because, once again, I simply couldn't help myself.

He really would have looked like a clown! I just can't understand why so many fans complained they didn't go with that look. XD (Ooooh! That's an idea! Draw the movie character's in the cartoon character clothing! *dies* )
lol But yeah, you're right, they could have kept a little more to Aang's original look, but to be honest it doesn't bother me.

Me neither. It was pretty funny cos when I went to see it, I dragged my dad along and when we got there a friend of my grandmas was there with her daughter and grandson (we knew the pretty well). Going to a kids movie with your dad and running into people you know, who are going the same.

But I think it loops back to the fact that they lost Sokka's sarcasm and Aang joy. If they could of added that, it would have been even better.

I definitely agree, but at the same time I'm kinda thankful they didn't try.
Every movie needs at least a little humor in my opinion, but the thought of Shyamalan trying to add cartoon humor to a live-action movie kinda scares me.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it would have turned out ok, but I'm afraid I've been somewhat scarred by all the 'kids shows/movies' adaptions that are ruined by the overflow of degrading bathroom humor they add. (How anyone could think that stuff is kid friendly I can't even begin to comprehend

I like your idea and how it turned out. I think Aang looks rather good! Zuko with some minor adjustments wouldn't look bad either in animated form. I like how you drew their expressions... and their downward stares.
On a random note: Katara's movie costume rocked. I want to buy the real-life version for cosplay. Could you imagine what it would've looked like on screen if they would've made Aang's movie costume bright yellow and orange? Yuck...

I think the art direction in the movie was actually really cool. The costumes were attractive and practical and so much more believable than all the ridiculous cosplay out there. I think a lot of people actually expected them to look just like a cell-shaded cartoon.

It makes me wish they could make another movie based on what most of the fans want so they could see how silly some of their ideas really are on the big screen. (Plus it would be interesting to see which points I was wrong about 
*Sighs* Some people just don't seem to understand how different live-action and cartoons really are from eachother.
