one more thing i like about this piece is that i dont see any element that i typically see. no drips. no skulls, no gritty looking splatter. even the typeface is fresh. that is all.

Yes, indeed i tried to avoid common tricks, i wanted to keep it retro and modern at the same time. The typeface is Horatio, by Herb Lubalin, who designer the famous Avant Garde!

Yeah, i like to be innovative, but since i don't have many commercial projects, i haven't tried all those common stuff, so i maybe use them, but in no way i want to be common or copy other's styles.

now that is fucking sweet. love the color. the mix of real photo and funky pop like illustration. most especially love it how its white lineart. would want this on my wall.
