Description
So, more work on the skin texture. Now have a full body done. Almost done. ok, about 78% done. The face is nearly completed and I've finished the morph for her. Which is good. But, bloody hell does it all take some timeRelated content

Ah - thanks very much - really appreciate that. Am still learning and working on some new skins so hopefully they'll improve

Excellent work and to be really picky I would dial the gloss down on the sclera more. Everything else is great realism.

I just found this www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthreaβ¦Β though in my extensive research cornea's have a IOR of 1.54 not 1.336 but the same principles apply

ItiseyeMeeSzark many thanks for that useful info abt cornea IOR. Will def start using that value. And second-circle I would like to be looking over your shoulder while you are creating skins I've tried and failed miserably

Thanks but I was corrected the other day on the IOR value and I was mistaken...best to use 1.37

What was the suggestion for the eye reflections?
By the way, great job again! Very realistic.

Not using the eye reflection layer by hiding it and setting the sclera and cornea to have a IOR of 1.54. Seemed to work out quite nicely, I've got more tests to do on eyes though as I'm determined to get the layering right

To be more precise I just said the cornea at 1.54 the sclera should be the same for the skin 1.40 - 1.44

Thanks - I'm quite pleased with it for a first attempt - have found lots of things to fix already, but don't want to make it too perfect. Much appreciated

I love the imperfections of the skin and the noise in the render. I could probably nitpick it, but I think you're right to try not to "improve" it.

I actually adde some noise - I'm a big fan of film grain - still shoot film at times on camera. Yeah - she'll improve with time
