As the son of Radhi approached a pack of wolves, not far away, Arusi let out a low growl.
She was staring at a rat corpse, which was surrounded by crows. These were the second generation of crows that were raised by Damu, implying that the original crows had been breeding and expanding Damu's army. She rushed and grabbed a crow by her jaws, before thrashing another with her paws. She kicked another with her rear legs, before dropping the corpse on her mouth. She licked the blood on her lips, and picked the three crows up and headed towards a den. A female wolf came running towards her.
"Arusi!" the wolf said, excited.
"Lunala! My, how I've missed you!" Arusi mumbled, before she dropped the crows and rushed towards the wolf and pinned her. The two animals nuzzled each other.
"So.." the wolf asked. "When are you going to make us official?"

"After my father is overthrown, I think.." Arusi said, with a hint of guilt in her voice.
"Why so?" Lunala asked. "Your father destroyed an entire dynasty, made the remaining member his mate so that he'd have a steady claim to the throne, then killed her, and had three illegitimate cubs- sorry."
"It's ok" Arusi said. "But I don't want him to know..." she lowered her head down.
"And also, when is he going to find an heir?" Lunala asked, nuzzling the lioness.
"I.. don't know" Arusi admitted. "I think he hopes that one of his grandchildren or great grandchildren take over after he is gone. I also feel that he'd prefer a clone of him, and for the heir to be a descendant of Lethnura as well."
"Well, don't think too much of him. After he is no longer king, I'll find a rowing male wolf, and you'll leave the Desolate Isle to find a rogue, and we'll raise a family- the Pride Pack!" Lunala smiled, and Arusi smirked at her.
But Lunala's smile faded as Arusi gave her a kiss.
"Hey, isn't that Lethnura over there?"
