I look at this piece quite carefully trying to picture myself as if I was watching you drawing it. This is certainly one of your best, but something tells me that you are capable of making a better one in one or 2 years. I wonder why you seems quite conservative with your artistic insight and afraid of using more shade or contrast of the wrinkle on the face - but it's just my point of view.

i guess i'm not fallowing you, i dont think it was that i was afraid of doing it, that's just how i did it. i was afraid of something though, the eyes, it was the last part of it, i wasnt sure if i should put them in or not, so i didn't, i've always thought that its better this way, but who knows. maybe one day i will go back and give him some eyes. but as for the drawing itself, that's just how i felt like doing it, i wanted sharp little lines for his wrinkles, dont know why, just fealt like doing it that way. i'll draw another face soon, hopefully it will be more along the lines of what you're looking for.

I really like him Travis! you did really good on his face too, its really detailed, i love that, and i love his neck too just cause you didnt just leave it plain, you shaded it and you did really good, got a good shadow of him going lol
