Description This was inspired by a long standing joke of mine. If the pokemon 'faints' in the wild, then surely another pokemon is going to come along and eat it. And don't even think about trying to convince me those Nidoking teeth are evolved for berries and blocks.

Chose Audino because a) I kill so many for EXP and b) it's cute. I chose Nidoking partly for nostalgia and partly because it WOULD eat an Audino.

As for the actual work, took about 4 hours, many layers, probably one of the more polished things I've done. As you can see, not much for 4 hours, but alright I think. I was going to have another panel with blood spatters but I don't have to spell it out, you guys know what's going to happen. ^^

This is what I imagine happens every time I sic my Krookodile on an Audino; once it's fainted, it becomes lunch

hence why I just have him hold an Exp. Share and let my non-carnivores do the fighting

Oh, and given the sheer number of Audino you encounter, and the fact that almost EVERY DAMN ONE packs Healing Beam as a move...

I figure that once you knock out one, more Audino show up and use Healing Beam on it, like a medic or something.

Yeah...the Nidoking probably leaves an arm or something and others come along and regenerate it like a starfish.

I find it incredibly funny when they use Healing Beam on your own Pokemon though. ^^

fruit bats have sharp teeth, pandas have sharp teeth. still great though Nidoking is the best Pokemon ever.

Well bats need to strip the skin off fruits, and pandas eat bamboo. I suppose that still doesn't prove my point, but for berries? Really?

And thanks, you're right it is. ^^

According to the descriptions of some berries, the outer skin is hella tough.

Audino, the extinct Pokemon.

The last two Audino in the world were apparently hunted down and bred in captivity, with their offspring then handed off to trainers for massive 'leveling'.

It is a surprise to most trainers that Rare Candies are actually processed Audinos.

And they still can't figure out how the eggs appear. Unobservance at its best.

The Audinos don't lay their eggs until nobody is watching. Apparently the exp mongrels can hold their young in for quite a long time, long enough for the black market supply to run out and disgruntled customers to start paying [supposedly secret subterranean base] calls.

Said behavior culminated in several breeding females -some females and males are allowed to stay in the breeding chambers and become full grown, for better supply- to be torn open and the eggs collected. Still the Audinos persist in doing this, and the facility laid off a decent amount of workers for being too aggressive.

Of course, on the off chance that someone would see an Audino lay an egg, who would he/she tell without risking full disclosure?

It is true that Nidoking needs to eat, and it gives Audinos a purpose besides lots of EXP

If it goes any further, it'll be like "the enemy conceded victory and you ate lunch together".

Haha, good point. I personally find it ridiculous that a pokemon should have to rely on an external influence to evolve, but game mechanics > logic.

lol, don't worry, it's not as ridiculous as finding a wild steelix (onix --> trade with metal coat) which you can actually find in the game XD
I mean, maybe the nidorino could have touched the moon stone and evolves, but a steelix??? XD

Ah yes, audino has to be the most useful pokemon ever simply because you can kick one's #ss for an instant level. That poor adorable thing.
