my first ever oil on canvas! board. canvas board. but canvas sounds better!i know doors in trees have been done to death, but the child in me still hopes to find one someday! one that leads to somewhere amazing..
the reference photo is of the beautiful temperate rainforests around where i live!

you live bei the rainforest. lucky you. this picture is so dreamy. we have such a little door near the village i lived when i was young. and we always drove by with the car. my dad told me that a little dwarf lived in there XD and i believed it. but it was just for mechanical stuff. i don't exactly know but something pretty unromantic ^^. the paining is really wonderfull. the only thing i dont 100%ally like is the really green green. its a bit too blueish for me. you could have added some orange/red parts to it to make it a bit more natural. but maybe this is also because of the fotograph.
