EDIT 2Thanks to =oblivion00 who helped me with code in part where it didn't work correct with text files, I added this part so now it works ok. I hope this will work with video files too.
I've recently changed my gallery skin into this dark. I like
simplicity
The live version you can see here [link] Instructions for use
- from CSS file
Edit your gallery, click on Option button, click on Style, copy css code from txt file you downloaded and paste into Style, click Ok. That's all
- from credit file
Copy text from credit file and Paste it into text box. Thank you.

I made this CSS for myself. I'm using FF and I didn't try it much in IE. But after I get DD I felt responsibility to make it compatible with IE too. So pls, all of you who download it and use it, pls download it and install it again. It will look much, much better now. Everything is the same except it is now compatible with IE.
And thanks to ~katsu3477 I also added rounded border for Safari users. I didn't test it in Safari cause I don't have it. I hope it will work fine.

There are lot of beautiful gallery skins but I'm very complicated person. Whenever I have time, I want to do by myself (I simply like to learn new stuff). That's why I made this skin. Once when it was done I decided to offer it to others. I was sure that no one will use it 
Even I was very happy for DD I was also little sad that I've got it for something I'm not good in. I would prefer much more if I've got it for some of my themes. Making themes for SE cell phones is my first love and I'm really good in that, much better than in making skins for galleries and journals. But that's life. After all, DD is what counts, no matter for what

I still dont understand how you put the CSS into your gallery...i see no option in 'style' to put the css anywhere.

under style there should be a note saying "add CSS" click it and it'll show a box for you to put the code in

Are you in a subfolder? You can't do that on the main gallery page, it needs to be within a folder
