Description
Funicular in Zagreb. Its 66-metre (220 ft) track makes it one of the shortest public-transport funiculars in the world The funicular was built in 1890 and has been in operation since April 23, 1893. Initially it had steam engines, which were substituted with electrical in 1934.Having in mind that it kept its original shape, constructional and most of the technical properties, it was given legal protection as a monument of culture.Photo taken with my old Sony kit lens. Strange, I'm even satisfied how it turned out, even without noise. Only few adjustings in photomatix and vignetting in lightroom

You're welcome I just came back from Norway, it was awesome! I even threw a few gigs (I want to become a musician if you didn't guess
). I'm making a blog post with pictures soon, if you want to take a look
Yeah, Finland is okay I suppose, if you approach it the right way xD I think it's a wonderful place to grow up in, but I don't think I'm gonna live here all my life I hope you'll enjoy your stay if you drop by some day!

Wow... I hope you had a great time even the weather was not so fine. I follow the temperature in Oslo to see what kind of weather is in Norway in this time of the year. Low temperature suits me much better then 30°C which is in my country now. But I don't prefer the rain while I'm on vacation.
Did you go with some agency or you went by yourself? I have terrible fear of plains and flights, but traveling by train would took me about 40 hours . Now I'm not clever enough what to do. But I have the whole year to plan my trip.
Btw, I've listened to both songs I found on the link in your sig. I like Clockwork City Is it you singing in those songs?

LilianG In reply to Sedma [2011-06-26 15:53:38 +0000 UTC]
Thanks, it was quite alright, I travelled a lot in a car and was inside a lot of the time so the raining thing wasn't so bad
I actually went to Norway in the first place because my godmother is an artist in Norway and she wanted me to sing at her art gallery opening And later on my mother and little sister joined me and we just went sightseeing and spent time with her and her son
The second gig I did was quite ex tempore in a local music bar- thing
I hope you can sort it out :/ Maybe you can travel on a ship for a while and then change to a train etc.?
Thanks, yeah that's me singing It's actually my sideproject with my friend from school. We write the songs together, he plays most of the instruments with his computer and I sing
My "own" music is very different, more rock n' stff
