On C'tekian ships they keep small animals in cages to feed on.
The prefer to hunt but on space voyages they know they have to be practical.
Off world travelers on their ships use replicators.

Now I also have to figure out what their ships look like!
I already know that they're colored red and black but everything else is up in the air.

Imagine having them for next door neighbors!
The Norayis Sector is known as the 'Sharp Sector' for a good reason.
The Tkarites who like there are masters of the blade.
The C'tekians have their fangs and wait until you see the Rylarin!
The Nlians are by far the gentlest race in the sector.
They're a gentle race but they know how to stand their ground.
If you have neighbors like theirs you have to be!

Actually they are cosmopolitian
The Tkarites are well known for their elegance and sophistication and their cities are beautiful
www.deviantart.com/seekhim/art….
The C'tekians pride themselves on their intellectualism and complexity.
The Rylarin call themselves the Rylarin Coordinate for a reason
I picture their cities as being somewhat like this

Of course they can be deadly if provoked.
When a Tkarite kills an enemy he/she leaves behind a stabbed/sliced body.
When a Ctekian feeds there isn't a body left.
When a Rylarin feeds there's nothing left but a dessicated shell.

Not quite.
Nagas are Hindu/Buddhist semi-divine beings.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C4%81g…
They generally shown as half snake, (nearly always cobra) and half human

It's okay. I'm familiar with the history with a naga.
A lot of anthro artists use the term naga to refer to their anthro snake characters.

Even the dracopedia series had their naga look more serpentine like this, though more monstrous.

The naga is also represented as a multiheaded creature like a hydra in some Asian cultures, which the Dracopedia series also covers.

It is interesting to see this design put into a fan work of a popular franchise, and as an intelligent species at that.
Usually snake creatures like this are associated with fantasy stories, like the Yuant-Ti from D&D or the Melusai from Warhammer.

Many people think of predators as just savage brutes, but predators are actually very intelligent.
They have to be in order to hunt.
I wanted to show the C'tekians as being fierce hunters but also having a sophisticated culture.
You can see one of their cities here! Let me know what you think!
