This is the Ogen System, located within the Norayis Sector which exists in my AU Abramsverse New Start series.

NORAYIS SECTOR
The Norayis Sector is located in the Alpha Quadrant, about a 100 light years ‘south west’ from Earth.
It’s 20 light years ‘south’ of Talos and 40 light years ‘east’ of Klingon space

LOCATION
The Ogen System is the south western area of the sector.

SYSTEM INFO
The system has one star, three planets, one moon and an asteroid belt

STARS (1)
OGEN
Type: Type M red giant

PLANETS:3
At one time Ogen had three other planets but they have since been engulfed by the sun.

ENER (Class G: Geomoteus)
Size: Twice the size and mass of Earth)
Ener was once an M class but with the expansion of the sun it has since been reduced to a lava planet.
The planet is famous for its ‘Fire Falls’ and many geologists throughout the sector visit it.

Ener Station
Population: 1200
This station is in orbit of the planet.
From there scientific and mining teams regularly visit the surface.

DOSHRA :
Class J: Gas dwarf
Moon:1
Dze Class K (Adaptable)
Size: Slightly larger than Earth
Population: 300,000)
Dze is known for its striking color and geography

URAY
Class P: Glaciated
Population: 50
This world was once Geonicative like Pluto, but with the expansion of the sun, it’s atmosphere has warmed slightly.
It’s still perpetually covered in ice.
It has an outpost/colony that monitors all transmissions and ships approaching the system

OTHER
Ogen Asteroid Field
Doshra is surrounded by a dense field of asteroids
This is the primary reason for the Rylarin’s presence in the system, as they are rich in minerals.

HISTORY
The Rylarin invented warp drive in 1980
In 1983 they launched a ship which reached Ogen in 1987
In 1993 colonization of the system began.
CLOSEST NEIGHBORS
It’s located about four light years north east from Iskan System, homeworld of the Rylarin

Five light years north west of the Vornel System which was colonized by the Tkarites, founders of the Norayis Alliance
which controls half the sector.
