Edit; Added some new mutations I've had in mind for some time and made the old nose a mutation as well!

I once had a dream where they had wings some time ago, and it made me think of this!~
Mutations are fun to work with, but these are not all fun to Reaper Imps themselves.

I figured; why make mutations so sought after? Why not giving them consequences?

Feathers;
- Feathers are small hollow-boned protrusions that emerge from a Reaper Imps body if the mutation is present in its genes. Feathers create an elegant look, and these Reaper Imps are sought after for their "divine-looks".
The feathers themselves does not give the ability of flight, and the "wings" on their backs are only for show. Reaper Imps can ruffle their feathers, and flap their "wings", but this is only for communication purposes - sometimes its used for flirting.
Negatives; Feathers create a very itchy body, and sensitive skin, and Reaper Imps with this mutation will need to clean themselves more often than usual to keep their skin hydrated and smooth.
The feathers needs to be preened, and new ones will grow within a couple of days, should the old ones be plucked.

Scales;
- Scales act as a second layer of protective skin, and are as tough as iron. They protect the Reaper Imp from harm, and Reaper Imps who sports this mutation are know for being good fighters.
The scales can lift themselves a few centimetres from the skin, and this portrays emotion from the Reaper Imp very well. The scales glow when magic is being used.
Negatives; While the scales protect the Reaper Imp, they are also very heavy and can cause the Reaper Imp to become exhausted easily. The scales are not very smooth to the touch, but rather like sandpaper, and can cause others harm if they are hit with them.

Spikes;
- Spikes are mutated horns, that when present in the genes appear all over the Reaper Imps body. They are smooth and sometimes sharp, depending on the Reaper Imps horn type, and are very good for protection.
Some Reaper Imps are very proud of this mutation, as it is a sign of great fortune and good health. All of the spikes glow when magic is being used.
Negatives; The spikes are somewhat feeble, and break easily - more easily than the Reaper Imps regular horns, and therefor Reaper Imps with this mutations has a high chance of breaking their spikes, which causes them a lot of agony. Some finds sleeping difficult, as their spikes are in the way.

Gems;
- Gems are a mutation that are caused by dilated pores on a Reaper Imps body. They are crystallised versions of the soul power found within the Reaper Imp, and this soul power seeps through the pores of the Reaper Imps body to crystallise when mixing with oxygen.
These gems are very beautiful, and Reaper Imps with this mutation is highly sought after for its grace and glorious mutation.
Negatives; With their pores dilated and their soul power seeping out, Reaper Imps who experiences this mutation will need to reap at least 3 souls a year to keep their body going. They consume souls a lot faster than usual, and some of the nutrient is lost due to the soul seeping out of them.

Collapsed Nose Bridge;
- A mutation only found in gen1 Reaper Imps. No longer available.
Negatives; No known side effects.

Sphinx;
- Sphinx is a rather rare mutation, at least rarer than others, and will leave the Rimper without any hair on the body - not even on the more fluffy tails. This mutation doesn't really have any benefits, and the Reaper Imp will often feel alienated from its fellow Rimpers.
Negatives; Rimpers with this mutation has trouble controlling their body heat, has a higher risk for lashing out and general aggressive behaviour due to constantly having to use their magic to keep themselves warm.

Liquid Markings;
- A specifically strong magic flows through these Rimpers, in fact so strong that it can make some of their veins show the magic beneath the skin. Sought after for these beautiful flowing markings, Rimpers with this mutation can also make the markings glow at will to entice their surroundings.
Negatives; Outbursts of magic and poor control of their magic in general is common for Rimpers with this mutation and if they can't find a safe place to ride out their bursts, they can be a danger to those around them.

Whiskers;
- Weird strands of hair that grown from almost all over the body (though mostly on the back and face) makes this mutation sort of cute! The whiskers are tough and do not break easily, but have to be preened pretty often to not bend or get all stiff. The end of the whiskers have a hard cluster of
magic that looks like a little bulp, and this can like many other mutations glow!
Negatives; These whiskers are very sensible and get sore easily if bended - they rarely break, but can hurt for weeks on end of not tended to, and high maintenance is needed for Rimper's with this mutation.
