Optimus, to me, is sort of like a "God figure". What I meant by that is that Optimus has some traits that God possesses and has that wise and caring nature (which God most definitely has) that just makes you feel safe when he arrives on scene. To me, he's sort of like God.. a mechanical, fictional version xD. And if you haven't noticed already, I paired him up side by side with Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia! He too is a God like figure who was actually meant to betray Christ when C.S Lewis wrote his books. Anyway, I just paired them up because they are my two favorite characters of all the movies and they represent Jesus Christ (:
