~ Audition ~

Here's some little trivias about those two dorks.

SYLVIA

- Strenghts recap -

Vampire body : Good stamina, high strenght & reflexes, very high speed, sharp teeth & claws, night vision, excellent earing, sedative saliva
Linguist : Speaks a fair english and a decent french, in addition to her italian native language she can naturally communicate with bats since she was bitten
Bat friendly : Once having convinced bats to help her, can uses them as an information network or distraction during a fight
Tenacious interlocutor : Quick to find good arguments, likes to debate and confront her ideas with others

- Weaknesses recap -

Sunlight : Causes sunburns and sunstroke within minutes, can be lethal if prolonged exposure
Salt : Causes unbearable pain on touch, lethal at high dose
Garlic : Causes nausea and cough, non-lethal
Thalassophobia : Has a morbid fear of the sea
Bloodlust : Sight of blood makes her losing her focus
Undead Incognito : Must hide her teeth, glowing eyes, scar on the neck, low body temperature, odd reflection, blood and meat needs at risk to blow her cover
Spirit-hermetic : No connection with the spirit world, can't feel spiritual manifestations nor being contacted by them

- Trivia -

By being a very young vampire, she can't transform herself into a bat nor merge through shadows, and she is still pretty weak compared to her peers. On the other hand, being a tenderfoot vamp is also reducing the weaknesses inherent to her new status. But for how long ?

Since she must avoid to be unveiled as a monster, she shows a low profile and a quite shy attitude with people she don't trust. But she can be pretty bold and familiar with someone she trusts.

Bite scar on the left of the neck.

Nocturnal rythm, she won't be as potent if she's forced to act during the day.

Her pulse and breathing are comparable to those of a hibernating animal, her skin is quite cold too.

She can pretend to eat and drink like anybody as long as it's not too salted, but Only raw meat and blood will feed her.

Drinking blood will regenerate most of her wounds and give her a boost, she might eventually lose her sense if she drink too much in a short period.

She would not voluntarily turn someone into a vamp, she don't event know how to do it. But it could happen as an accident.

Her fighting style leaves much room for improvisation, she mostly relies on her speed and reflexes, with some kind of weird eastern styled moveset. Will try to disarm her opponent if possible. If she's in an unfavorable situation, she will likely run away to strike back with better chances.

Wood or silver won't hurt her more than anything else, she's basically as resistant as an average human.

Her reflection can be viewed differently, depending of the spectator, but there will always be something suspicious or even terrifying in it for those who look carefully.

Crucifixes do not frighten her yet, but cause to her a feeling of unease and sadness.

Making her laugh or shout suddenly risks of revealing her fangs.

GORDON

- Strenghts recap -

Voice from above : Can suggest or even order commands to people, effectiveness varies greatly among individuals
Encyclopedic knowledge : Knows a lot of things about a lot of things
Linguist ++ : Speals a bunch of languages, and might even be able to catch the basics of an unknown one if he sees/hears enough of it
First aid basics : As long as your not dismembered, he should be able to fix you with this piece of cloth

- Weaknesses recap -

Injured leg : Have been seriously wounded on the left thigh years ago, cannot run or jump, random shooting pain
Alcoholism : Feel the need to drink when bored or stressed, every spirituous can do it, but high preference for absinthe
Easily detestable : Grumpy when not awful, would smile only when all the planets of the solar system will be aligned
Too curious for his own good : Can't help himself but to search for things that a simple priest should not seek
complicity with evil : Needs to keep Sylvia's nature secret in front of the Islands residents
Spirit-blind : Poor connection with the spirit world, can't feel spiritual manifestation unless being contacted hard enough by spirits themselves

- Trivia -

Although being able to control her and preventing her to hurt any innocent, he is still cagey about Sylvia's behavior.

When he starts a command by "You shall..." it will act permanently, otherwise the command will just be punctual. He cannot cummulates a lot of permanent commands on the same person, or else that person will erase the oldest orders. If two conflicting commands are given, the oldest will be also erased.

Once they have been actived, the effects of the voice from above will not wear off by themselves before a few days. But the subject himself can eventually become resistant by his own means.

The subject will quickly be aware of being controlled if they're under a strong command. And will eventually suspect something if they're under a suggestion that would usually go against their behavior.

By default there is no visual hints determining whether someone is controlled or not, but feel free to make some if it serves your narration !

More than one person can be influenced at the same time.

His orders are interpreted by the targeted person, misunderstandings are possible.

If the target is unable to hear a command, it won't work.

For someone who's initially sensible against Gordon's voice, a high adrenaline rush can break the dominance temporarily.

Gordon is afraid of dogs.

The pain in his leg is very random, but it will prevent him from most acrobatic moves, or strike him really bad if he tries.

Absinthe's abuse or weaning will give him hallucinations.

Can't play organ properly.

Obviously don't have any fighting skills.

That's it I guess !
