Used the Blizzard study of Zeratul, copyright Blizzard Entertainment, to create matching somewhat rougher versions for the male and female regular protossI'd like to think the females are taller than the males, but more delicate and thin so they end up being about the same weight.
Compared to Zeratul the male is more muscled and heavy, and with a more upright posture(straighter legs)
seeing as Blizzard draws them without sexual anatomy I'm gonna assume they psionically have sex....? Anyway, physically very androgynous between the male and female!

Also, since I forgot. No idea what their purpose is, but apparently since the model of a certain protoss LotV unit became available for viewing, Protoss boobies are canon.

Also relating to a short zeratul comment. If i noticed correctly... he sorta adopts a hunchback position with his pair of knees realy bent

to be honest the lack of genitalia could also be a censoring attempt from the developpers.i doubt blizzard would explain it, and i also do not see the need for loincloths then, which appear rather common, especially if you watched the last LotV trailer which details on the way old protoss were during the aeon of strife. My guess is as good as any tho, but we lack conclusive evidence for either opinion nevertheless.

Hmm... Psionic Sex. ...Honestly, I can't see how that would work out, seeing that the purpose of sex is to reroduce. Perhaps the male's organs are completely internalized.

I've always wondered what a Protoss skull would look like. would there be a small outline of a jaw from a long lost point in their evolution? would it be smooth and flat or jagged and covered with holes? these are the questions I ask myself at 10:15pm when I sould be asleep but instead deside to get on the computer...

But yeah, I imagine part of the reason is Blizzard just not wanting the fuss that would result if there were visible "organs". So they leave those bits out, probably.

As for the sexual bit, I sort of assumed Protoss' parts are internal (when not in use). Some pictures of a pantless Zeratul I've seen, he does seem to have a bit of a bulge going on.

Interesting how you made the females taller... Also, it makes sense that the DTs would be shorter, since they spent most of their lives either on Shakuras or aboard ships, and it's hard to get proper nourishment in those environments.

I felt the taller females just might be a fun minor twist to make them more distinct as a race from humans.
and I agree about the nourishment thing! I hadn't thought of that. I figured they're stealthy ninjas so they probably adopt a stance with a lower center of gravity and it's better to be lean and small when you're sneaking around than big and bulky. I like that we now have two reasons for being shorter
