Description
Female on LeftMale on Right
Protoss body studies. It's amusing because you can see that I get more refined in my studies. Some of the figures are a lot better than the others in here.

Oh god, I love this. I use this ref for literally every protoss drawing I do. Never take it down D:
Thank you so much for posting!

which now brings the question, how do they reproduce? I'm not that much into SC Lore, unfortunately.

very nice for a sketch but i find it hard to use as a 3D modelling reference. Can you fix the proportions?

Lovely work, though I notice there don't seem to be any reproductive organs? Is your theory they are hidden somewhere and nly come out when mating? I've always pictured Protoss females to be pregnant like Terrans but maybe for a longer period of time, but I am curious on your views of their reproductive process.

Throwing earth theories asside.... do you really think that Blizzard will NOT give them breasts?
Need I remind you: they gave Zerg Kerrigan organic high heels.

They didn't give any to Selendis as far as I can see.

As far as you CAN see, she does always wear that chestarmor
I mean: come on. This is Blizzard.

Very nice study there
As for Protoss breasts, I doubt it as when you get down to a functional level Protoss don't have mouths and therefore baby protoss wouldn't drink milk. I would assume baby protoss get some kind of nutrients from their parents' psionics or something... or maybe some kind of umbilical cord and they have to stay connected to the mother for a while?
I'm overthinking this..
And concerning another race in Blizzdom with breasts who wouldn't need them for reproduction as they're reptiles - the Naga - were originally Elves so their breasts are probably more vestigal.

Protoss get teir nourishment through light, like a plant, so I imagine baby Protoss are the same.
And yes, Protoss don't have mouths or drink milk.
But look at this picture of a Dark Templar female I recently found.

She has breasts. Seriously...

Hmm it's kind of tricky to tell if they're breasts or if the style of the clothing is making her pectorals look like breasts... and I didn't know about the light thing, but then I've not read the Dark Templar Trilogy yet (keep meaning to) and I know that has a lot of stuff about Protoss.
Though come to think of it, Protoss MIGHT have vestigal breasts, I'm remembering something back from the SC1 manual history (*gasp*) about how before the Xel'naga started modifying the Protoss they were predators who communicated with telepathy so I guess Protoss may have had mouthes at some point in the past unless they like drained energy from their prey and therefore perhaps the Proto-Protoss females had breasts and so like the Naga the modern Protoss have vestigal breasts in their bodyshape but they're non functional.
Come to think of it female protoss in other media such as the Manga generally seemed flat chested or at least practically flat chested, but had clothing around there, probably to provoid some visual cues for us to recognise them as female. It's entirely possible that's all there is to them wearing the equivilent of chainmail bikinis and such, to make it easier for us humans to tell them apart from the males.

Wow, so many words. And yeah, we don't know what they were like originally before the Xel'Naga altered them.

Well, this is certainly interesting.
This is definitely good. Though the only definite difference between the two that I see is that the male's cheeks are much more sunken in.

hips are diff, fem is slightly taller and thinner mostly it's just the hips

Well, yes, but as someone else said, a lot of these could possibly simply be the difference between a younger and older Protoss, the cheeks, however, are a lot more defining in my opinion. Granted, the hips are a lot different.
One thing I also noticed, comparing Selendis to other Protoss, females seem to have a much flatter crest.

I don't see much of a distinctive difference between the two studies. I could have easily assumed the left was a young Protoss, while the right was an older Protoss.
Other than that, I like these design studies alot.

I like the idea that they're pretty androgynous. It makes sense since the few drawings blizzard has done of female protoss there doesn't seem to be much diff except they're a little thinner, more delicate faces, and bigger hips
thanks for comment
