Description
Not too much to say on this one. Well, this was just something i decided to have fun with back in 2002. Just playing around with different styles fashion wise i suppose. So you got some punk and some raver in there. The last one on the right was actually the first one i did. Where i was experimenting with gel pens on top of black Rub-A-Dub marker. For those of you that AREN'T familiar with Rub-A-Dub markers, They're basically a Sharpie marker. Except they're meant to write on laundry tags and what not so they can be washable. Now why did i use that marker in particular? Here's the secret. It fades INTO the paper, not leaving any streaks like a Sharpie does. AND it DOESN'T hide the original inked lines. Quite a nifty trick. But VERY hard to scan. lol.

Thanks.
I intend to kinda revisit this style soon. Haven't done anything like this in awhile. So hopefully, there'll be more in the near future.

lol. Another person that wants my fictional clothes. I REALLY need to find a way to get in touch with Hot Topic or something. lmao.
And that particular inking style I haven't done in such a long time. I kinda miss it. I keep meaning to get back to it, but never do.
Anyways, enough of me rambling. lol. Glad you dig the piece, man. I have some other things in the works with more outfits coming up in the future. Can't say when exactly, but its in the plan. lol.
THAAAANKS.

I love your inking. The poses are so fresh the areas of black and white balance out so well. On top of that your one of the few who experiment with bold lines making them heavy and give them weight. I love that in ink work.

Thanks, man.
Yea I kinda had to learn to work with thick inks cuz I can ink thin. My hand isn't steady at ALL. lol. So I had to experiment with that. Than after reading the first volume of Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic, I got inspired to play around with solid blacks. It makes for a pretty cool effect when used effectively. .....haven't done that in awhile though. I gots to get back to that eventually. lol

lol. Thanks. Yea, kinda fun to draw. Was just foolin around with some ideas. I try to keep the fashion as unique as possible while still keeping within the realm of possibilities.
For example. I'd KILL to have that shirt actually made that the dude is rockin. I'd so sport that. lol.

Funny thing is, that was the first one I did of the three. I was going to try the same effect on the other two, but decided against it. I think I made the right descision.
Too bad the effect isn't as vibrant as it is on the actual page. Little tip: Metallic Gel pens don't scan very well at all. lol. They're even a bitch to adjust in Photoshop.

I like the whole thing, but especially the hair on the girl on the right. Crafty idea with the markers too.

Well thats me. Always trying to come up with clever new things to try. As we all know, i get bored with ideas kinda quickly. So I'm always trying to find something different to try.
Glad you like it. Too bad the scan didn't do the last one justice. Looks SOOO much better on paper.
