This page gave me so much grief... I just kept drawing and redrawing it until I almost gave up, then decided to skip most of the Nappa/Gohan confrontation.

Would I be correct in assuming that the background in the fifth panel is hand drawn? Also, incredible work with speed lines in the sixth panel, it really does resemble Toriyama's style.

I knew it! I knew Trunks was gonna think that Gohan would get killed not knowing Piccolo would step in! Now the real interesting things start happening. Does Piccolo still get killed? How will they all react to his appearance? What is to become of the epic battle of Goku VS Vejita?
I can imaging that this page was hard. But I think it came out really well. You can really see the urgent split decision in which Trunks decides to step in. I think the 3rd panel with Nappa and Gohan came out the best. It really captures the 'Oh Crap I'm gonna die!' emotion.
Can't wait for the next part ^^

Though I could be wrong...but it would be awesome if Piccolo survived and went to Namek with them
And it must have been so frustrating for you to try and draw Nappa DX I can understand that totally. It always was difficult to draw them with so much muscle mass

Nappa wasn't actually the toughest part... I don't even remember, the whole page just refused to get done ^^
