juz a draft design i did for a client and friend. He gave me the head of a beetle as a basis for a character design and this is what i came up with. Although it looks cool, i have to agree with the person who requested it that it kinda didnt suit the purpose he was planning so we scrapped this and did a modified versionRelated content

I never watched that Guyver manga but if he looks like that, i gotta find and watch that! I loved the cheesy movie version of the 90's but never saw the manga.

They did an undated anime in mid 2000 that's not half bad, I'd check that out over the stuff they did in the 90's and oh how gloriously cheesy both films were...

Kabuto is japanese for that type of beetle, it's used as design reference a LOT.

of course! hehehe... i worked my ass off on that! The Red Lantern character is gonna be owned by the person who commissioned it but i still had my hand at the design. But this one is definitely owned by me.
