With my 30th Birthday fast approaching (damn... im really old) i decided to do something from my childhood... Heman! Masters of the Universe was my fave show growing up! Could've given him an updated look but decided to capture the original version.This is a piece im pretty proud of. No references were used and i think i still drew Heman quite well considering the last time i drew him was probably more than 15 years ago! Not too happy with the hands though. It was supposed to be the classic "fists on waist" pose but i miscalculated the distance during my sketch.sigh
This piece is also for , and every other fan of the epic series that changed the face of cartoons and action figures forever!

Im working with her right now actually and im trying to make her resemble Cheetara but at the same time make her look someone totally different from her. Did i make sense? Also wanna make her look like an adult rather than a teenager. I might tweak her costume a bit also if its ok with ya.

Hope so... I really have no idea what they're gonna wit the material or how they are gonna do it but i think it would have been better if it was in CG though. More freedom to express Heman's universe and all.

Yep! But no chance for avengers to be CGI as they already have plans in motion for the live film and its gonna be great basing from what ive heard. DC's JLA would be better with CGI but i think they're gonna follow Marvel's lead though.

Batman Begins was ok in my book. Marvel has had mediocre movies in the past but i think its all gonna change now that they are making their own movies directly.

I remember both Heman and Thundercats were aired late at night in Greece because back in the day, they were considered animations aimed at adults lol! I watched them both in my youth. I like your adaptation of him. Makes him look slightly primitive which adds to the roughness.
