Description Another KO piece for and this time, we got the lovely WASP from MArvel! For those who arent familiar with this version, Wasp was actually portrayed in a comicbook once in this costume. (Thanks for that info Dave!)

This time, no references! Yipee! Had to make the piece a lil darker this time as i wanted to play with the backlight a bit.

Hmmm... I guess if I was being particularly picky, I'd say her extended foot could use some work. Maybe stylize the shape a bit more so that it continues her overall flow better. But, that's very minor! great job!!!!

Yes, and I am obsessed with one that she wore for just one issue --Avengers, Volume 1, Issue #161 (Marvel, July 1977) -- I love seeing Janet in that sexy pantsuit! All of my commissioned artwork of the Wasp feature her in that outfit!

I never used references actually... i juz had to when i was doing the out-cold-on-the-floor pieces recently coz the ones i juz made up looked really REALLY stiff.

She died during Secret Invasion... poor Wasp never had her due. Antman, her husband is now using a new costume and has taken up Wasp in her honor.

Im sure if they find a cool way to bring her back, they will probably and would revamp her.

Prior to her death, she was only remembered as the beaten exwife of Hank Pym. She wasnt that much of a character and i hope things will change if ever they bring her back
