I thought it would be nice to take pictures of both the Mighty and Ray magnetic paintings I did before I ship the Ray one far away. (The Ray one was a commission requested by ~MightyRay ) They look so cool side-by-side!
Want a cool magnetic painting of your favorite character, or perhaps your own character? I'm currently open for commissions! I'm offering a few other things besides paintings like these, so feel free to check everything out. I'm willing to do more than just Sonic characters! You might recognize the drawings hanging up on the fridge; they were drawings I did last year!
Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying squirrel belong to SEGA.

Yep! They're magnetic, so you can use them as magnets.
Though, at the moment, the Mighty one is in my room, and the Ray one was sent out to the person who commissioned it.Β

Aw, why thank you! I hadn't really thought of it, but this picture is kind of like new art meets old art; the drawings being from last year, and the magnets being from within the past month.

Yes, you can easily see the improvements you have made as an artist (not to say your earlier art is bad by ANY means) and I think that is always really awesome to see with artists.

Don't worry, I also cringe whenever I look at my older stuff, especially if it's REALLY old. Then again, if you do that: it just goes to show that you must've come a long way!

XD That is true. It's not super helpful when if it was digital I delete it after a while and remove it from DA >_> I am OCD about constantly cleaning and reorganizing things out.

Yep, they work great! They should be rather durable too, I put like 3-4 coats of glossy sealant over 'em.

Awesome! Had it been my cousin, he would've put, like, 12 coats (I may be exaggerating slightly) since he's highly protective of his art.
Let's hope they last for a loooooooong time
