Oh goodness, I hope no one thinks that I will upload this many Comics anytime soon again!Just like the previous two, this was one of my first thought after watching the season 3 finale. I mean, COMMON AJ! maybe you never saw anything happen like this, but you certainly saw other alicorns! Cadance is even pink!
Also, I loved drawing Luna like this.

Outside of the fact that it was more "She never saw a regular unicorn suddenly become an alicorn" than "never seen an alicorn bfore" Luna's face is so epic I don't even care. XD

I think what AJ mean was hat she never saw Unicorn becoming Alicorn.
I bet that last time this happened, it was Cadance as crystal pony turning into Alicorn after creating crystal heart ( she have Crystal Heart as cutie mark, it have to be related ).

Personally I think Cadance was a more recent transformation. At least, she doesn't act like she's a thousand years old, and considering she doesn't really have that much of a power base compared to Celestia and Luna (exhibit a: she was foalsitting -- not exactly a royal activity.) it stands to reason that she hasn't had centuries to build it up.
imho, she got her wings around Twilight's age and a little before she's shown in the flashbacks in the s2 finale.
How she became an alicorn, though... maybe Shining had something to do with that.

Ep 65 specifically states that Twi was the first Unicorn to TRANSFORM INTO an alicorn, so Cadence must have been one all along (or she was a pegasus or earth pony but that makes even less sense). Why the very existence of Cadence isn't treated as a BF deal is unclear (maybe they all got used to it). Foalsitting to kill time/ pretend to be normal I completely understand (and maybe Celestia knew or suspected a few things about Twi early on...)

Cadance was not Unicorn, she was Crystal Pony ( no wing, no horn ), and she turned into Alicorn by creating magic artifact what use love as power source.

Fair point, sir. Of course, that does just leave me more confused. She just doesn't have the personality for someone who's lived several centuries, which to me suggests she's not nearly as old as Celestia and Luna.
Considering it looks like she grows up somewhat in Twilight's flashbacks, she can't be all that old.

I still say she was Crystal Pony, her cutie mark is the same as crystal heart and crystal ponies called her crystal princess, why would they do that if they were banished 1000 years ago and saw her first time ?
Cadance just lose are her subjects, her entire kingdom and was left with no power and just tittle, so she tried to keep herself distracted and chill out, spreading love where she could and waiting for her empire to return, and it just happened that she meet Shinning Armor and they fall in love.
