Cupcakes - they make you happier.This whole comic thing started in school where I drawed a thumbnail like version of this here, then liking the idea and making a bigger paper sketch, scanning it in and well - here you see what happened next^^

no, I meant by listened that I listened to micthemicrophone on youtube as he read the fic as an dramatic reading, I do know all the details, for example that the author did have some nice ideas like explaining WHY some ponies (or griffins) never return and stuff, but it was just.. bad in a funny way^^

meh, the main idea was quite good in a gory way, but the execution (of rd) was not that well done, like the author just wanted to end it after some point or something like that.
but I still felt horrible for "reading" aka "listening" to my little dashie afterwards...

I can imagine. I'm still a beginner when it comes to dramatic facial expressions. Drawing mouths changing the shape of the head still feels odd to me.

dunno if this helps, but: I draw a simple circle as guideline for the dimensions of the head first and if the character is moving the mouth in an extraordinary way (or something) I draw the mouth next, so that I can form the shape of the head around the mouth^^

I actually do do that, I just have trouble getting the extra shapes for the mouth right. I'll get it eventually.

I do like this comic(makes me think of Calvin and Hobbes), I COMPLETELY disagree with Pinkie in this! Contemplating existence is something everyone needs to do more. Besides I find it rather inspiring just how little we are in the grand scope of things;more room for us to explore!!

I personally have some moments where I am just depressed for no actual reason, but then again some moments where I am quite the opposite - so this is somewhat a reflection of my self... in some way, dunno lol

Yeah, I understand that. But still, in my case, I prefer to be alone at the time. I think that if someone comes to my like Pinkie does I will stay annoyed watching it =/

So... Twi's feeling a bit down and Pinkie wants to cheer her up. Okay, I get that. And I do like the art. But what I don't like is the message that looking at the stars and thinking about our place in the universe is "stupid." I think Pinkie would have found a better way to get Twi's attention before inviting her to getting cupcakes.

I did not read it, rather have it read by Micthemicrophone (its rather tedious to read something so long in a language you were not raised with) and quite frankly I couldnt stop laughing at... how bad it actually was, it tried so hard to be gruesome and it did not fail at that but... well nonetheless it was a try hard^^ or something along those lines lol

Actually, I love to think of how small we are. Putting it all into perspective helps us realize that what we think are huge problems are sometimes really nothing. The universe is too big and dangerous and beautiful to ignore!
