Technical Information
An advanced targeting system, it enables a mobile suit to lock on to several enemies at once, and fire at them simultaneously with near pinpoint accuracy. The system requires the mobile suit's pilot to posses high spatial awareness capabilities, and is also compatible with the METEOR unit.

History
The Multi Lock-on System was created by ZAFT in C.E. 71 during the development of its nuclear-powered mobile suits. It was most notably employed by the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam in conjunction with its Full Burst Mode to disable multiple enemy mobile suits at once, and the ZGMF-X15A Gundam Artemis for suppressing enemy forces. The system was used by the Freedom Gundam and the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, alongside their METEOR units and Gundam Artemis, to great effect during the Second Battle of Jachin Due, enabling the interception of a large number of nuclear missiles launched by the Earth Alliance's forces at the PLANT colonies. This was carried over to their variants as well in the last portion of the battle. The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam had this system for use with the DRAGOON System, which made it a force to be reckoned with. Other suits had this system equipped as well; the XXXG-01W56S Gundam Enzian has a simpler version that locks onto fewer enemies due to its Buster Rifle’s limited number of shots—which was slightly rectified by its upgraded EW form—, the GAT-X102-HM2 Assault Duel Gundam has one for use with its ranged weapons, and the GAT-X105+TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Strike Gundam Zero has one for use with its Gunbarrel Pods and can also target multiple points on a single enemy.
During the Second Alliance-PLANT War, the system was installed on the Justice and Freedom's successors, the ZGMF-X19A ∞ Justice Gundam and the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam respectively. It was also present on the LH-GAT-X103AP-M2 Meteor Buster Gundam, and even Sana’s ZGMF-X20A-PF Perfect Strike Freedom Gundam.
