Description
Isabella Schuler's the first character I made for a small pokemon rp group I'm in with a group of friends. She works as a telephone operator in a nation mostly made up of dog pokemon, and enjoys model railroading/trainspotting as a hobby.
Her inability to perform to the expectations of those around her influenced her to believe that the only person who could understand one's true potential was themselves. Choosing to create and pursue her own challenges and goals instead of working to meet the expectations of others.
I have some older pieces of her I drew that look terrible by comparison, this was a redraw I did more recently. Seeing furfrou's large floppy ears made me think "hey, those could totally be tied up in a bun! I haven't seen that before" for whatever reason and the rest of the design was sorta made up around that.
