Ah, I'm not sure it was so long ago, probably not long to set-up, but back then my pc was super slow

Yeah it is a good cathartic exercise, like singing, dancing, playing music, reading, writing etc.
Really it only takes a short time to setup a scene (make models, put textures on them, setup lighting), but then the computer has to compute the lighting, textures, etc.. how the light bounces/refracts/etc lots of complex calculations. So once you press render you can sit back... for a long time and wait.

Wow... I think I failed drama at highschool (I know you are thinking "is that even possible?"). I was never really outgoing, actually I was the opposite, super shy, socially awkward.. Still suffer from social phobia
