It hurts to rememberI want to forget
But every time I think of letting go
I feel lost and confused
Like life is nothing without even a thought of you.
Want to wallow in mourning
In yearning, in pain
Rather than forget your face.
It was nothing
I am nothing to you anymore
Why are you still part of me?

I liked this all the way down to "it was nothing" because the phrasing was then changed and I kinda thought the last part, "I am nothing to you anymore, Why are you still part of me" was more or less a question alleviated outside the poem. could you help me understand that line?

I guess it just came out that way.
I usually do little editing on my poems and just let the flow go.
I do like the idea of seperating it a bit from the rest.
