Description A friend commissioned me to do my version of Thor, the mythological Thor, not the Marvel one. I'd talked for a little while about doing my interpretation, and plus I think he took pity on me 'cause I'm so poor right now. lol So there we go.

I wanted to create something alien, primal, and unstoppable. I guess as a bit of irony I put him in a fairly stereotypical Marvel-style pose. I always liked the myths about Thor, how he was kinda a bad guy, but... not really a bad guy.

Thanks, hair is a major pain, but I think I'm starting to get that just a few details and contrast creates the illusion well.
