Description
Eeee~ FINALLY! I got more of my OCs done! This lineup was actually supposed to include two more pairs - Cupid's eyes, and Harley's eyes. However, due to spacing and such, and Cupid's character revamp, I decided to put Harley and Cupid's eyes on a separate submission. They're not done yet, sadly, but I'm having SO much fun designing Cupid's eyes!So for now, please enjoy!
(From top to bottom)
Maestro - Maestro is a rare male siren. His oceanic, deep-sea oriented eyes are designed to help him see in the dark depths of the ocean where he was born. But these days, he is not much in the waters of his home ocean - and for good reason. (Head-canon) Sirens are a female-dominant race, much like Hyenas. As such, Siren females are vicious and cruel, even to their own male offspring. When born and discovered to be male, the mother will rip out the vocal chords of their male child so they may not use their magical and alluring voices. If the child survives, then he gets to live - but not without cruelty. Mothers often abandon their sons, and those who survive to adulthood are used as nothing more than to help breed the females. Males are typically born smaller and weaker than females, and Maestro was no exception. Males also have evolved to be (mostly) vegetarian, as females will not let them partake in their catches.
Due to his upbringing (the upbringing of all male Sirens) Maestro is extremely shy, submissive, and generally meek. He is completely mute, but due to events that had him finding courage to leave the ocean, he became a powerful magic user of sound and music. He loves his ocean, and the music he creates in place of his stolen voice. Maestro now lives in the remains of the sunken Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean. Sadly, despite his heightened power and new confidence, Maestro has Gynophobia - he is terrified of anything remotely female (not to be confused with misogyny - he doesn't HATE females, but he is very scared of women, the exceptions being girls who haven't hit puberty and therefore aren't yet 'womanly').
His eyes are reflections of the sun below the surface of an icy ocean, and are very large and wide - your typical 'fish eyes' commonly found in ocean dwellers. His eyes were based off the Chimera Shark and the Greenland Shark (without the parasite). His sclera are a very dark blue, but his eye color generally shifts between seaweed green to cobalt blue depending on the lighting. His eyes are EXTREMELY light sensitive (since he is a deep sea dweller) and as such, he typically only comes out at night.
Disliber - Disliber, or The Jersey Devil, is a very elusive sort, despite his bulk and presence. His eyes are the true eyes of a devil, but primarily seem very goat-like. His oval pupils are expressive and can narrow into horizontal slits, and just around them, he boasts the customary mark of a Dark Spirit - a 'sun burst' of gold around the pupils. His eyes are wide horizontally, but narrow vertically, mostly due to his horse-like head shape (his eyes do not face fully forward, but I set them as such in the image so people could see both eyes), and have a murky red glow. His sclera are a much darker red, and are typically set in a scowl.
Lady Sorrows - Lady Sorrows, Pitch Black's gardener and dame (female knight), has eyes of a deep blue that seem to lighten up and glow in the dark, but in the light, they darken greatly to a deep, dark cobalt color. Like all Dark Spirits, she inherited Pitch's sun burst mark in her eyes. Her eyes are seemingly normal at first glance, but her eyes are the eyes of a predatory bird. She uses her eyes to look into people's hearts and see the weeds and gardens of their souls, and her piercing gaze can cut one's soul in half, as well as seduce victims who dare intrude upon her king's garden. Her eyes are owl-like in their ability to see at great distances, and their night-vision. Her pupils can widen into black holes that can overpower her iris, or shrink to pinpoints that can disappear into her blue irises.
Patrick - Patrick's poison-green eyes are as sharp as cut emerald, and as expressive as the green inferno of wrath itself. His eyes are the typical fae-class eyes, with standard night vision, far-seeing (the ability to 'reach' far distances with your gaze, like built in binoculars), glowing irises, and hidden vision (the ability to see what is hidden, even from other spirits). His pupils are very standard, with no real ability outside of contracting and expanding to human-limits. However, like all Leprechauns, his eyes can pose warning in the form of color changing. His eyes change color to convey certain emotions, typically around the edges of the iris, and not the entire iris itself. But for Leprechauns, when they feel wrath, or they feel threatened (or their charges are threatened), their eyes will change from green, to yellow, to orange-red, the green completely vanishing. When you see this, you need to back off. Period.
Patrick's scar is, supposedly, from a bar-fight he got into during a party, but he changes the story every time someone asks. Since the whole "I got it in a bar fight" is the story he uses most often, people just assume it's true and Patrick is just being his usual obnoxious self. But despite his gruffness and rather uncouth mouth, he is a true Irishman with the magic to fix, mend, create, and defend with his bare hands. He is your heart of gold bouncer kind of guy, but he rarely shows this heart of gold to anyone except to much younger spirits. Two spirits he is known to melt around are Halistair Owens, and Lady Luck (new OC, eyes coming soon!) who also happens to be his niece.
Please enjoy folks! Next up, Harley, Cupid, and if I get the time, Lady Luck!
All mentioned OCs belong to myself, Sumi-Sprite

It looks legit, and it's the demo version - so you'd get free 30 days to use it and try it out!

On the site I linked you, you would get the demo version for Windows and such, and after the trial, you go back and you can purchase the code needed to let you use SAI permanently on that computer. I can walk you through stuff if you like, and show you how to use the line tool.

Yeah, but would the code and full version work if I'm getting it on a Mac computer?

Sephiius In reply to Leelu [2016-10-18 18:36:40 +0000 UTC]
I would imagine so - it's the same program, just with a different compatibility module. You can ask the site though just in case, they usually respond very quickly - they are VERY nice about transfers too. I've gone through two computers with SAI and only paid for it once because both computers died and I just asked if I could gt a different code for the new computer.

I hope so too. Otherwise, Windows is you're only bet. It's a Japanese made program after all, and we only have the english version because technicians here got permission to do so, so it's a somewhat flawed system.

There's another reason to get a Windows computer, I'll just have to find really good antivirus stuff...

Ikr? I just got a new Dell with Windows 10 (I'm naming the computer Hal and no one can stop me) and it is AMAZING! I haven't moved everything onto it yet, and I'm considering keeping my old computer as my art-only computer so I don't need to get new codes and stuff.

Keeping them things separate works! Kinda why I want a Windows thing, then I can game and do art stuff on one and have the other for other things...

Yikes, that has to suck...I know there's TONS of geology jobs in our state and Colorado - here because hello, crystal country lol for that kind of work, your area needs to be...well, a rock place. Have you looked out of state? Or do you want to stay local?

Leelu In reply to Sephiius [2016-10-18 23:58:14 +0000 UTC]
Well, doesn't really matter. I just want a job I can take overseas after I've learned German and saved up 60 grand or so. Then I can apply for a job in Germany and leave this continent...working with crystals WOULD be really cool though. XD

Ooh, good call. lol
I don't know much anything about your degree overall, or if it remotely applies, but maybe you could look up positions in jewelry stores that sell precious stone jewelry? Sounds like a far fetch, but high end jewelry places pay decently I hear, and there are processes of marking gems down for their worth in-store. Or if you have a local bead store that sells local or imported stones, that might work? Shrug.

That'd require an art degree jewelry, but hell, I'll try it!
