I love CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.I love CSI: NY.
CSI: Miami, however, SUCKS.
I watched Tuesday's CSI on video last night before CSI: NY started on five, and got a couple of minutes of Miami at the end. That Horatio is so bloody smug and arrogant and baseless...*screams* All the characters in that show, unlike the original or NY, have no depth to them, they're just cardboard cut-outs with job stereotypes. But anyway, yes, when NY started, I began drawing this, the punchline of which came to me during the opening of Miami, before the video mercifully cut off. It amused me.
I'm not overly happy with how Grissom turned out (the one crouching)...his face could've been a little thinner, but I'm kinda proud of Mac (the one with the CSI: NY case) and it was a pleasure to draw a deceased Horatio, killed by his own shallowness.

Wow I have to agree. XD Vegas is my favorite, NY I can enjoy, I can't stand miami....it drives me nuts. So YAY He finally died!

i like apart from horatio being dead from 'smugness' as i love him however mac sucks(IMO) but still at least you like grisson

I LOVE this haha I crack up everytime I look at it. CSI is suppose to be serious yet everytime I watch Miami one I start laughing...I don't think thats what they were going for.

You know, that guy is only still alive because they're not ready to start filming CSI:Afterlife. I mean, how do you solve a crime where EVERYONE is already dead? Maybe it turns out the victim is still alive? "Looks like this guy...," he slips on his shades, "...was just playin' possum."

Just how much of Miami did you ACTUALLY watch? I watch it everyday same with LV and NY. I LOVE all three of them! Horatio is an AMAZING character if you actually are ABLE to get his character...which really isn't that hard.

I watched season one and the first half of season two before I gave up on it. I just found the characters really cliche and two dimensional. To me -- and this is just my opinion, obviously -- it was flat. Had no warmth to it (aside from the saturation it gets from its blinding yellow filter). Guess I just didn't find myself investing in the people like I did with CSI and, later, CSI: NY (which I was all ready to find a spin-off too far, but actually really love).
And Horatio grates on me. I just find he doesn't have the presence or any of the curiously endearing qualities of Mac or Grissom. I never took to him. True, he stands out more than the other characters...but not in a good way.
But that's just my opinion.

i agree, Grissom's eyes are a little off, but that's ok, every pic has it's downfall. anyways... i agree, ny good, origonal good, miami... yeah... i did like the miami/origonal crossover tho... i heard there was a ny/origonal crossover that i've gotta see...
btw, i've never really seen ny (maybe one ep), but it has 2 of my favorite actors. Gary Sinise can't go wrong.

i've actually never seen NY, but I'm an aboslute addict when it comes to the original. perhaps i should give NY a try... hmmm. I got discouraged from the non-LasVegas ones when I tried watching Miami and got very bored and irritated.

I was dubious 'bout NY, being a huge fan of the original and hating Miami so much, but I'd definitely recommend giving it a whirl. Gary Sinise is so cool...and it's just so much better in terms of character and...well, it doesn't have that yacky yellow glow to everything that Miami has!
What is with his glasses?! He wears them in the NY spinoff, in a dark apartment building in NYC! WHY?! Such a poser...

Oh my god, this is awesome! I kind of feel bad for CSI: Miami because it got stuck with Horatio. Poor, poor Miami. This is just perfect, though. Must +fav.
