Red buds that were ready to bloom as soon as it got a little warmer. There was a full bush of them and they looked so lovely and fascinating. Taken in March 2016 on the same very productive walk as these two:Related content

Unfortunately I don't know. I'm also not sure if I can find the exact tree again to see if the blossoms can tell me more as the photo was taken on a longer walk in a huge park. I'm sorry.
