Why do I keep doing this to myself?I haven't the faintest idea.
You think I'd learn to not do these pain-in-the-butt vectors anymore. But no, I have to do them. Because my brain won't let me not do it.

I, for one, love the entire design of Twilight Sparkle's castle.

The only thing I slightly dislike are the doors. I think they could have been better, but I liked everything else.

I don't like (not hate) the castle one bit. Why? Because seeing it
where Twilight's original home used to be makes it feel out of place.
Also, it looks more like a Crystal Empire castle than a Ponyville castle.

Does anyone else wonder if the fortress was built where the library(may it rest in piece and live on in Twilight's and our hearts) once stood? If it survived the chest may have just pimped it up a little.

That's what I originally thought as well, but rewatching the episode showed me that it was more on the outer part of Ponyville. The library itself didn't have the path leading up to it and the tree is waaaaaaaayyyy too wide to have fit where it was. Perspective: Three or four ponies can walk through that door side by side.

You are correct: the castle DOES have a library for Twilight.
The photos of the Rainbow Kingdom playset clearly show that there is a library among the playset's "rooms".

I miss so much the old library... *sigh* And am I the only one, who thinks this castle would be looking better if it was placed in the Crystal Empire, instead of Ponyville? And I also can't understand the "Princess of Friendship" thing. The show is starting to be a bit cheesy...
