Why do I keep doing this to myself?I haven't the faintest idea.
You think I'd learn to not do these pain-in-the-butt vectors anymore. But no, I have to do them. Because my brain won't let me not do it.

Looks wise, I think this new library is fine. Some have said it is an eyesore, but I do not think so (it is certainly better than the Rainbow Power Pony designs. Also, I am sure this will be the new library. The problem is that middle section. It seems insufficient in holding the building itself and seems in danger of collapsing at any moment. I mean, geez, I thought Rapunzel's tower in Tangled was top heavy. I hope some of that magic in this tree goes into preventing a collapse.

...Um...In my opinion, Twilight putting a public library in her castle is basically an invitation for Changelings to attack.
I mean, the Changelings WOULD take advantage of Twilight just allowing Ponyville's inhabitants being able to enter her castle.
It's FAR safer for Twilight to just order a new and improved Golden Oaks to be built where the old one used to be, but this "Golden Oaks 2" is for the inhabitants of Ponyville. (Since Twilight DOES have a library in her castle, according to the playset.)
(As you can imagine, Apple Bloom helps out a lot, particularly with growing the new tree. )
Plus, we must remember that Twilight has OCD. She wouldn't just leave Golden Oaks half-destroyed; it'd be bad for her sanity!
But that raises the question of who the new librarian would be, seeing as how Twilight won't use "Golden Oaks 2".
I think that it's highly likely that Sunset Shimmer(when she gets back to pony-world Equestria, obviously) will be the new librarian; seeing as how Twilight got Sunset to start learning about friendship, it's natural that Sunset would desire to be Twilight's apprentice.
Still, Twilight putting a public library in her castle would basically be Changeling bait.
(Before you mention Twilight getting her own royal guards...consider the fact that the Royal Guards are pretty much useless when it comes to dealing with threats to Equestria.)

Maybe the castle has a library with all the books Twilight lost in it. And all Twilight's personal things (Like the picture of the mane 6 we saw in MMC) were re-created by magic and put in the castle

I have possible ways for the library tree to comeback:
A) Library = home
castle = work office
B) castle = home & work office
library = library(somepony else could run it, maybe)
C) castle = home & work office & library
library tree = clubhouse
