She is going to be Oscar’s new dressage mare! I’ll hopefully update later with a story once I’m not so brain fried

To be completely honest, it was almost impulsive that Oscar had applied for a wild caught. it’s not like he didn’t have the resources because he absolutely did, but it hadn’t been a plan to get a new horse. Though, when he saw that the season was coming up he filled out an an application and sent it like a gunshot in the dark, completely oblivious to what he might end up with. Though, he was definitely a bit excited to get to experience what he started to call “The full ober experience” which would be getting one of the developed bred wild horses and planning to train it up while he moved up the levels with Cherny.
To his surprise when he found out about the lovely mare he had been appointed he was shocked. The mare was perfect, she was really anything he would hope in a horse and he was honored as anyone else to be able to train the horse up under his touch and guidance. After that, he spent his time traveling to meet the mare and train her so she was comfortable enough to leave with him to her new home in California. It was a new scene. She was leaving her herd mates, and she still did not have a lot of trust in her new human. Getting home she was flighty, and nervous as Oscar led her to the quarantine barn she would be staying in. He held a loose hold on the lead, but firm enough to not let the lead slip through his hand as he calmly walked along, giving the mare soft words to try and allow her to stay calm. Her soft whinnies would ring out, but an ear flicked to him so he knew she at least was listening to what he had to say.
