Description
You're bound to run into problems when two different species try to breed and create offspring, and sadly Olympia so persistent on becoming a first time mother is going to learn the hard way and Benito knows this.Β
FACTS: Are Hybrids possible in aircraft? Yes, but there is limits as well risks. Unlike animals, (living)aircraft are bit more complicated and the chances of a hybrid are extremely rare naturally. Olympia only got knocked up by artificial means and that even though Benito and Olympia are two majorly different species their Italian genetics make them.. somewhat compatible.. somewhat. The complications though are high the offspring would either never develop, have lethal deformities, or if they do somehow survive they're sterile. What if one of Olympia's offspring does survive, what will it look like? Well for one we're not going to see a jet powdered S.81 or a G.91 with a propeller. The offspring will look like the parent with the dominant gene and their appearance and structure will not be altered. /End of lecture.Β
Anyway more traditional work for ya'll still not feeling up to doing anything digital at the moment so enjoy my sketches this took about 15 minutes to doodle.

Yeah a bit sad, but my newest deviation does have a happier tone from this picture.

The level of detail in your descriptions is of the upmost quality, I must say.

It is convincing without doubt, just like Beva.

What about planes creating completely different plane types?

It's possible to create a new type but it'll only be possible through artificial means and selective breeding. Species have to have more in common than just tiny strands of genes like in Olympia and Benito which will never produce an offspring that'll be considered a new species. Genetics can be considerably tricky and I am still weeding through all of it Β

this is a beautiful concept, and I really like where you are going by the complicated genetics of it, literally a 1930s trimotor with a 1970s era jet fighterbomber just the sheer possibilities here are uncountable, I look forward to seeing where you take this
