MB3D 189x2Wonder about the purpose of these constructions. Seems like hangars, but they aren't...
This is a formulas combination by He was also very kind in providing some useful tips to make it work and not rendering for ages. Not up to his master level, but trying.
It wasn't my intention to make it reflective. Just fell short of lighting tabs (more please) and some areas were too meh. Busy look in dark parts is not noise. Too many thingies there. Might make a new render at even better settings, but times would be too long

I did not see this! It is fantastic, Sergio, one of the best industrial pieces I saw in ages!
The reflections: always tricky, too much too little too bright too dull etc, reflecting too much: lower spec colour, oh no, not enough now, back up with the spec. colour etc etc etc... Told you: I spend more time on lights and reflections and stuff than on the fractal :S Oh well, we need Something to moan hug:

LOL, it's exactly how you describe it. The darker parts of the image got a bit busy. Thought it was some noise at first but no, only tiny reflections

Thank you very much! Kept some key lights to minimum specularity after running a few tests. It was too messy till finding the best possible balance.

Yes, though tweaking other artists parameters can be very helpful for learning, seems like we both prefer to reinvent the wheel over and over again
