MB3D 189x2Though we all know it, it's always interesting to see what's inside an almost flat surfaced fractal.
Lighting was quite tricky. Sending positional lights blind folded inside the structure required several trial and error tests. 
Dedicated to a dear friend Like Patty, she's going through some sad times. Hope you like it Barbara

Stumbled across this by accident. The very First thing I thought of, was something which was suggested a year or so back. Seems there is a star which appears to 'twinkle' even viewed from space... one of the ideas suggested that the people living there were in the process of constructing something like a Dyson Sphere, and we are seeing the star shining through gaps in the structure.

It largely depends on the fractal. This one was quite inviting to try it. When you least expect it, you'll come up with even better magic.

The tech is confusing but your talent is above it. Getting help from our colleagues is faster for learning and probably the most intelligent decision. My learning curve has been much slower because of being stubborn. Always liked to do my own stuff, no matter the disasters.

Agree, the personal stuff has more expression to it, and intent too. Thus more interesting, imo.
High quality is always nice to look at, but it can't replace content, only enhance it.
I actually enjoy the disasters as valuble lessons. No mistakes means you never tried, I tell myself.
