MB3Dx2Made with Mandalay-KIFS only. Not related to Pink Floyd's song
In a relatively near future, some mega corporation using technology from who knows where, began a depopulation project in our planet, much more explicit than the one we witness today.
Attracted by the promise of a better living, massive numbers of people are herded here, only to be processed...as food. The healthier ones are transformed into brainless slave workers till exhaustion and processed too.
Since building something so ambitious for just a couple tasks is not viable in a diversified ravaged world, other purposes are fulfilled too...
The movie Soylent Green starred by the late Charlton "NRA" Heston has a more or less similar concept.
The story is longer, but you get the idea.

I'm a huge Sci-Fi (and thriller) fan. I've watched them all (well not all, the grad Z ones I leave alone). The director Neill Blomkamp gives a reality to Sci-Fi. His movies have a very real feel to them. I can't wait to see Chappie.

My favorite genres too, as well as fantasy Tolkien style. Now I'm curious about Mr.Blomkamp, probably watched some of his movies. One of my preferred directors is the eclectic and uneven Ridley Scott.

Yes I really love most of what Ridley Scotts done. Blomkamp has done only 3 movies (and 5 shorts). Really, and all 3 have been great successes. He's done District 9, Elysium, and Chappie AND he's doing the next Alien .

Chappie was just released it's still in theatres here. I don't have the time to go to one so I'll wait until it's released on DVD to watch it.
Yup they are planning to do 3 more of the Alien series and Sigourney Weaver will be in this new one (dunno about any of the others). Kind of sequels but not totally.
Yeah I really like Person of Interest! I have it recorded and am going through this season in the evenings. Not watched 100 although I'm curious about it.

I'm quite behind on movies, since I haven't visited DVD stores in a while for that purpose. Was focused mainly on live concerts. Listening to music is fine, but watching bands/musicians play on your screen with good speakers to match, became addictive.
3 more Alien series? Hmm...better make them good. We already had Prometheus as a prequel and possibly a sequel of it!

The 100 can be arguable in certain respects, but is a must see show for us scifi buffs. Plot, acting and production are excellent. The more episodes you watch will get you hooked more sooner than later.
