Description
I finally managed to get some color work in. It's been a long and arduous process but I finally managed for something different and worth trying out to pop into my head. I've been under a mound of things to do as of late, what with the whole wedding and moving and all so I really haven't had any creative sparks flying lately. But this one actually came to me in a dream. I don't remember much of it but I was apparently the sheriff of some old west town and these three different women took me out (what a way to go though).
That's where this came from. I had to reference anything I could for the saloon girl because other than Madeline Kahn from Blazing Saddles I couldn't think of anything else to go on. I did think of the video game 'Gun' and I figured why not have three different girls (Irish, American, Apache) from three different walks of life (saloon girl, gunslinger, warrior) and then put them together for the same purpose. Sounded like a good idea at least.
The gunslinger was supposed to be a brunette at first, but then I wanted them to have extremely different hair colors, so she became a blonde (she'll more fun this way anyways). The Apache I wasn't sure how to do with regards to color, but fortunately 'Deadliest Warrior' came on SPIKE and it was the Gladiator vs. Apache episode, so I was able to pull some reference from that.
I think it turned out okay, but I still want to put a background on it, but I'm afraid I'll ruin it if I do. I don't know, maybe I'm being paranoid, but will see.
I think I'll stop rambling now. Now everyone benefits.
Hope y'all enjoy it!
