Project 1 for my Illustrative Concept Design class

The goal of this project was to create a "book" to describe oneself. Naturally, my imagination brings me back to the source of my love for Japanese Manga: Ranma 1/2. Inspired by the classic graphic novels, I created this fictional sequence based on the "Working for the Weekend" poster concept I did a few months back. This book is another venture into how my brain works as far as conceptual planning and my love for perspective! As for the project, NO computer generated aid was allowed. Thus, EVERYTHING you see was created by hand, using only pencil, ink, and a trusty ruler! A new challenge to say the least, as it forced my brain to think much farther ahead when it came to planning the layout. Sound effects, speedlines, dialogue boxes/dialogue, the whole kitten-kiboodle!
