Does the SAW use the same capacity mags as the rifle? Now what was the capacity again? 30-40? Kinda weird that the LMG principle of the Madsen and the BAR hasn't died down yet. There's a SAW version of the SA80, Steyr AUG, even the G11.

It's 30 rounds. And sometimes a magazine fed gun has some advantages for example you can use the other squad members ammo as well and it usually takes less time to load the gun. (compare IAR Infantry Assault Rifle [link] )

That's my point. Anything that sticks to your side is not what a soldier'd pick for a bullpup. A banana mag might do, but then that'd extend too far down.

The G36, I hear, is a reliable modern assault rifle. Like most german firearms, it forms the core of an entire weapons family, much like the G3 did.
The M16... Total crap. The system is flawed from the start. Might shoot accurately and well in the hands of a skilled soldier, but that applies to most rifles. Too high-maintenance for my taste, as you get all this crap into the action when firing. Too light, too fragile.

What they've done to it lately, the 416, 417 and the 468 are in the right direction. The Masada is what the M16 should've been from the start.

And I don't know too much about your guns, but since it's an improved AK, and since the AK is pretty much the best rifle in the world I think it's fine.
