It's based on the H & K G11 in design, but the technology is mainly from the FN P90. I really like the design especially the clip, the integral rail for accessory and my very favorite the sight. It's a simple, flipable, synthetic plate with a red-dot. The rifle uses a very small caliber compared to my others.Related content

By looking at this design today I can see the issues. The ammo is basically drawn as round nosed almost pistol ammo which would indeed have problems with penetration. At the time of drawing (which was 13 years ago) I was probably thinking of a slightly enlarged 5,7 Γ 28 mm but I didn't know much about ammo design and the effects of spitzer bullets back then.
