That explains why it looks like this belongs to Tounushi, but either way nice work.

Yeah, we've been sort of working together and a common style came out.

Neat looking uniform(s). I especially like the vest, really impressive to behold.
That camo-pattern is most suitable for urban warfare I belive.

Sweet design, man!
OH! BTW. Checked one of the articles about the m/05 uniform that they tried to eliminate velcro and zippers wherever possible and replace them with buttons in order to "reduce their IR signature," or smtn. Guess that didn't pan out. Our 05s had just as much velcro and zippers as the 91s. The only real difference -other than the material, pattern and cut- was the durability of the buttons. I was the only man in my twelve-bunk dormroom (tupa) who had all my buttons intact. AND WE DIDN'T EVEN USE 05s FOR COMBAT!!!! OR FOR THE BARRACKS EVEN!!
But DAMN! You beat me to it with the vest on that scale! Oh well, been approaching mine from the m/05 combat vest -angle, so I guess the others should notice the difference. Does your vest double as armor? My design doesn't.
BTW, didn't you mention that your vest is modular in nature? The vest looks more like a permanent design (no "rails"), but i guess you could have some places for hooks or something behind those pouches. That works as well, but let me tell you, it's Hell enough to try and rip out three pouches from a Finnish combat belt, so I can imagine the frustration of anyone who has to replace pouches on a vest that uses a similar system. Inserting is easy, but you have to get creative for the *removal* of the pouches. The damn hooks were VERY stiff.

The vest does at least give protection against small caliber projectiles and splinters. The vest is still modular and the same notches as on the shoulder-pads (the smaller ones) are used underneath the pouches.

I see. Still, it's kinda weird seeing a futuristic design without PALS on the vests or Picatinny on the guns. Guess they're the current trend.

What are this "PALS"? (kinda hard to google in short time because of the double meaning) And what do ya mean without Picatinnys?

I mean that PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System [link] ) and Picatinny have become mainstay in military design, giving weapons, vests and some armor the ability to be modified for the user's own needs. So it's rare to see any military design without them these days, unless following some established style or policy.
Even our latest fragvest has PALS [link]

Ah, you mean that system. Well I'm just using another. I don't want to be mainstream.^^
