Another Disney drawing from lockdown two years ago - this time featuring Flounder the Royal Angelfish from Disney's 1989 The Little Mermaid. I spent a good chunk of that summer learning character drawing for animation, since I had a lot of extra free time during the pandemic. As with most of my other Disney character drawings (sans Ariel) I followed a tutorial provided by Disney animator Michael Woodside, which may be found on his YouTube channel. The tutorial calls for drawing with pencil and/or pen, though one might theoretically substitute these for an iPad or other digital tablet. I drew mine in pencil and pen, after which I scanned the result and created this finished version in Inkscape.
