The shadow under his beak is my favourite part, and the shadow around his face. Beautiful mix of colours!
I like that it makes me wonder what sort of body he's keeping hidden!

It has a modern twist because of the thin layers of colours and lines. But, it also reminds me of Indian art for some odd reason, probably because of the circle hovering above the character.

American-Indian (Native American)? Some of the Native American art and design has had an influence on my work.

Just be careful, the image is so big and there's no watermark people can easily steal it and create prints of their own.

The bird is almost scuptural, it seems I could pluck it right out of the picture and hold it in my hand...dignity can come in the most unlikely packages...a round little bird has dignitas...

I didn't want it bright and cheery but not necessarily dark and gloomy either. I wanted the bird figure to be physically "in between". I mean like in the realm of "in between".
I like the look of the line continuing, as if finishing the bird. It worked and I am satisfied with the piece.
